Syrup is a defensive character. Defensive characters are meant to just wander around collecting stars, not to do flashy risky stuff, which is why people find them boring.
I guess you could do something like putting hammers or using clouds of gulls to put you at low HP, then trying to gank people with her hyper. But that's even more risky than playing Suguri since you're left very vulnerable once you've used your hypers.
You could also use I'm on fire or rainbow circle to sort of switch modes, but then again as Syrup you're not supposed to be actively attacking people.

Personally I'd like to see Nath. Maybe she'd have like... 6 HP, 2 ATK, 0 DEF and -1EVD? Since her robot is so huge and all it probably doesn't have much dodging capability but it hits hard and can take a bit of a beating.
Hyper could be either temporarily leveling up her robot to her other forms or her beam reflecting shields? Shield gives you +! DEF, reflects half damage received back to attacker. Other forms decrease HP and EVD but increase ATK.
