As disappointed as I might be that they're not doing the sidequests for the LP, it's understandable why. They gameplay portion of them is pretty boring, and only the narrative part at the end is worth looking at. So they either cut out the boring fetching, which probably fucks with their recording schedule, or they record the boring fetching which risks the commentary deteriorating over time.
Skipping on the sidequests was just the "safe" choice.

Yeah, of course they should not 100% them. But there are some side quests that need no grinding at all. Did any of the quests for Lighthouse Lady need any? Don't quite remember. But at least for this very infamous quest they could let Liam do some off-screen grinding if there is any.

Matt's always been the one that liked videogames the least out of every other Zaibatsu member.
