Very few notable or enjoyable speedrunners attended despite GDQ events raking in more and more money. Twitch chat was hilarious especially when trannies showed up on screen. the Elder Scrolls block was fun.
if you do anything, watch jack and dexter for a frankly historic run in terms of atmosphere. gameplay was bad of course, but I can forgive it

Star Wars Jedi Academy by CovertMuffin was fantastic, but unfortunately had a bad timeslot (4AM EST) so it got overlooked by most of the US crowd. I woke up just as it was starting and ended up staying up to watch it because it was so entertaining.

There was a ton of trannies this year 12 of which got 4 fucking runs.

The run itself was a very boring "watch". I mean, it practically directly jumped to the credits ("0:02" my ass), but the technique they used is extremely interesting.
I hope there won't be more of this sort in the future, though.
