They'll probably make Left4Dead 3, but with weapon skins, hats, zombie skins, music packs, survivor skins, medkit skins, skin skins, pills skins, bile jar skins, pipe bomb skins, defib unit skins, hat skins, syringe skin, melee weapon skins, and other cosmetic items that can be purchased via real life currency.
It worked for TF2, Dota 2, and CS:GO, so why stop there?

There was some shit leaked about L4D3 leaked a while ago, many speculate that known valve developers are testing it on steam
That indicates its pretty far along, I'd expect it before the end of the year
