Writing is bad, story is non-exitant, Art is excellent except for when it's obviously trying to be reaction image material, coupled with the fact that it's playing against a bland script devoid of any character or emotion is comes off as forced.
Still, it's a Sonic comic so it's probaly as good as you guys get, it's Shakespeare compared to the OVA.

I thought it was a lot of fun. I really dig the art & the classic aesthetic is just eye candy to me. Also Classic Amy is a qt.

I thought it was good but I don't know why people want it to be the standard for the comics. Stories like this only work as a one off thing.
You can't have Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Eggman be the only characters in a comic book series that's dependent on world building.

I met the artist for the comic at Anime Expo.. He was nice enough to sign a print.
I enjoyed the comic, specially the art style. Writing isn't anything to write home about, but I wasn't expecting much. I'll probably buy the rest of the issues.
