The strongest indicator I've seen of the fact that Overwatch is actually balanced reasonably well is the fact that I've seen salty raging faggots on /v/ make threads to complain about literally every single character being overpowered.

Shes fucking strong and can single handledley fuck a low rank team easily but all it takes is a 76 with decent aim to take her down. A 76 with ult can shut down one even with a pocket mercy and that really hurts the team.
I hate fighting against her too since I kind of suck and can lose the fight if she has the jump on me and 76 is one of her hard counters.
