They're good together in game. When I play mercy I love pharahs. They don't get into retarded close range situations like D.va. They're usually in visible range so they make great escape routes/vantage points. When flanked they can just take off and me with them. Their no fall off AOE rockets are excellent things to buff, much better than point weapons like Pulse rifle.

I'm currently working at Blizzard but I'm not going to disclose the department so don't even try to fuck me over.
The sexuality of some of the characters are known but they're saving it for a Christmas promotional video where the characters are shown relaxing in comfort in home environments.
The video is still in its production stages but I've seen parts of the script and I can confirm a few things.
1. Zarya is presumably straight, she's exits a club with a "scrawny guy" under her arm
2. Pharah's sexuality isn't disclosed but Mercy is presumably straight because she has a scene with 76
3. Pharah's father isn't disclosed but I would assume it's not 76 due to his relationship with Mercy
4. McCree is bi, I kid you not they describe in detail that he is in a bed with a man and woman laying under the sheets with him with a ceiling shot
5. Mei is lesbian, she creates an ice scuplture of a woman that's presumably a woman she loves
6. This is just a bonus point but Junkrat and Roadhog have a kind of bromance scene as the sun rises on Christmas day, it's probably not romantic thing though and played for laughs
Again this is pre-production script so it could change but look for this stuff in this years Christmas promotion.
