Did MGSVTPP ever get a proper crack? Last time I checked it was still all this stupid 'change time zone, mission 46 fixer, post-prologue save file' malarkey.

I guess I kind of want to play TPP since I've played through all the other games, but I'm not desperate enough to sit through any of that crap, or fork out actual money for it.

You've named one good game and it's half-unfinished.

No game under Denuvo was worth the asking price of $60. They were all mediocre. The only exception was DOOM, but it's second part (multiplayer + snapmap) was complete garbage. Why do you think they've put Denuvo on it in the first place? Piracy increases the sales of games that are GOOD. Piracy isn't even a big problem, now that people would much rather buy the game on sale than fuck around with torrent. Piracy is only a threat to mediocre and untrustworthy games.
>>
Sounds like they found some other tricky way of brute-forcing through a loophole in the system.

They're pretty sly, but stuff like this has to be done on a game by game basis and takes way too long.

Good news for scenefags everywhere then, because just like when 3DM broke-into DA:I and clowned everyone who insists on scene purity and Usenet loyalty, dinosaurs like CPY will suddenly-decide they care about breaking Denuvo in the near future (after releases stating that no one major will bother with post-MGSV Denuvo), and release something that's based on the horrible evil 3DM's findings

PC always wins, baby. One less thing I have to pay for. Console cucks keep paying full price, PC ports keep getting made, I keep playing free games on better hardware. There has never, in the history of PC gaming, been a reason to pay. Games are software. Software has no value as it is not physical. If you pay for software, you're getting cucked.

There will always be console cucks to fund the creation of games which will be *also on PC. Ergo, fuck idiots who pay for games, fuck idiots who use Steam, fuck console cucks. Pirate Master Race out.

I want to at least try all of those for myself. If I buy them, and they're shit, I have to wait for the refund to go through which always takes too long for me. If I can wait a week to get my money back, or download a game, try it, and delete it in under a day, I think I'll go with the latter.
But this also means that Denuvo being crackable throws it to the side so less devs are gonna invest in it.
>>
>>344975695

>>344974756
Mad Max was cracked, I played and completed it without any problems.
MGSV was cracked too, no ? Don't know, wasn't interested in it
Just Cause 3 is either shit because it's shit game or shit because it has Denuvo, because no one played it therefore no one talked about it
If Just Cause 3 isn't shit in gameplay, then it's a good example how Denuvo automatically turns any game it touches to shit. It's probably safe to say that 90% of Denuvo games die in literally less than a month, because no one can pirate them to try them, no one talks about them, no one can recommend it to anyone etc etc, even if the "if the game is good I'll buy it later" is bullshit in most cases, it still sometimes meant a sale, while with Denuvo no one buys them.
Notable examples: every Denuvo game except maybe DOOM, but it had a good discount on SSS and a demo version so that might save it

I pirate absolutely everything, I don't pay for anything if I can get it for free, but claiming software has no value is obviously not true. If it had value, I'd have to pay for it. If it had value, it couldn't be copied endlessly with zero resources and distributed for free. Well if I'm stealing, then clearly it has value. Piracy isn't theft. It's making a copy of something. Theft implies that I'm taking something. DRM is a moot point. It's always about the quality of the games. They should stop wasting money on DRM.

It really is just the funniest thing. Like the ultimate cuckold. They spend time, effort, money, sometimes actual devotion and care to create content. They create this thing, which they then declare to be "theirs", and then distribute it. They have the gall to slap a pricetag on something that can be copied infinitely and downloaded in ten minutes or less.

How fucking stupid can they be? Who do they think, in their right mind, is going to fork over money when the same thing is available for free, usually with a better download speed? Then they get so mad that "their" property, their "intellectual property", is being "stolen". If they didn't want it distributed, they shouldn't have created it.

Artists, directors, musicians, they're all huge fucking crybabies. They think that because they made something, they have the right to be its gatekeeper, to force people to pay money in order to enjoy it. They're not doing work. They're not digging a ditch, working an oil rig, welding. They're being little pussy faggots and "creating art". They think that, because people enjoy what they make, that they'll pay for it. Then they get cucked. If they'd get wise and get a real job, they wouldn't get cucked out of their money.

Playdead aren't really indie anymore, also they probably got money from Microsoft to ensure they release on Xbox One, and just used that to pay for DRM on PC.
It's just like how the devs from Crytek made an "indie" game. They can afford to put DRM on that shit because they already work on AAA products outside of indie games and have big money from licensing their products on platforms other than PC.

definitely because of denuvo.
it's a VM that mutates the original game code while it's running. to cope with that sort of thing alongside tight deadlines there would have been many corners cut in order to stick within barriers of simplicity so the VM's demanding CPU usage doesn't become too obvious.

So ? It's not like they owe you anything. 3DM was first to provide a working crack for MGSVTPP. The guy from 3DM who worked on the crack was busy with family but still did it to show that denuvo is a joke.
They probably got paid to hold still and not to leak information.
They stated they will be back after their "break" while monitoring the sales. And sales of denuvo games are cringeworthy bad.

Its funny tho how the chinks appear all of a sudden and take all the credit while russians kept updates and progress of denuvo cracking progress with videos and actual forum posts.

Bronco said any half decent engineer is able to crack denuvo. Problem with it was that they used virtual obfuscation and fucking up the game files so bad that it didnt made sense at all. Now its exposed on exelab. You will get a working crack end of july.

Hitman is episodic garbage that only has one decent map.
Just Cause 3 is Just Cause 2 with wingsuits, absolutely horrible optimization and some of the worst controls i've ever experienced.

Mad Max is the embodiment of modern shovelware, nothing but a Ubisoft-esque open world with towers and checklists, and Bam Ham combat.

Doom was nice, but I didn't find anything special enough to give it a second playthrough, played the MP for a bit, but it's not engaging.

Rise of the Uncharted Raider is a shitty cinematic game with a snoozefest of a plot and a pointless open world.
There's no reason this game should cost more than $10, and thank god I bought it for only 1 cent during the Newegg bug back in January.

no where near. denuvo is just an extreme case of security through obscurity.
it's a large amount of things trying to hide another large amount of things. the only difficulty in cracking it is having to spend so long finding all the areas to patch. it's a pure case of being delayed due to the literal man hours required to crack it.

hardware DRM is far more tedious because of all the custom-built annoyances you can cram in it, of which many are often not documented in any way (all the shit denuvo uses is documented in one way or another).

if you watch through that video, one of the things sega saturn had was some little wobbly squiggle pattern around the edge of their CDs, which the CD reader would check for. no one has the patience to replicate that on normal CDs...and that's only the start. for how old it is, it's got quite a few CPUs in there, and it isn't just one of those that was doing the DRM side of things.
