Door to Phantomile had a remake for the Wii which was pretty good, but I don't think people still care about Klonoa right now unfortunately, since it was never a big IP anyway, at least compared to everything else released alongside it.

I know. I bought the remake. It was... alright. But it wasn't what I wanted. I didn't care for the English voice over at all. And the models were not as cute. I switched to the nonsense language, but even that didn't fix all the missteps. Would rather have some kind of sequel.

How does 2 compare to 1? The only thing I think I'd hate about 2 is the lanky Sonic Adventure-tier design he has in 2 and the later games.

Honestly, you should give it a try. Too bad actual physical copies of the game are rare and expensive. I have one, and I didn't even know it. I could probably sell it for around a hundred dollars if I wanted to. Just emulated it.
