You know just when I start getting bored of Pokemon GO, I decide to turn it on while I'm driving and I always come across some badass pokemon that gets me excited and when I capture it, it feels so good. Like today I decided to open the app while driving home from work, and I came across an Onyx. Made me feel really good when I caught it.
THis game has some charm to it. It's less about fighting and winning gym battles and more about coming across pokemon from your childhood and the excitement of encountering and capturing them. My 2 cents.

2) add all the Gen II-VI mons in region-specific ways; so Europe is getting Gen III mons, America gets Gen II, Japan gets Gen VI, etc.

I play Pokemon Go and my dad literally drove me for 4 hours(each way) to go see one of those Pikachu vw beetles in Ohio before it came out in English and I was playing fan translated roms before that. I bought Blue the day it came out in english and got a gameboy pocket just for it(although this ended up being a good choice since I learned the gameboy had a lot of good games)

Another flaw, the progression in this game feels very wonky. People will begin to realize some of the major flaws in the game's structure in the coming weeks.

Why do you fags care so much that lots of people like this game? The most fun thing about pokemon was capturing them and shit. Besides, the real point of pokemon go is not the game mechanics, but the way it seamlessly blends the real world and virtual reality.
It works best as a pokemon game because you use monsters to fight for you instead of using hand held weapons.
It's fun to run around and find pokemon, it actually made me loose weight, I met other people and enjoyed it for the first time in 10 years, and it has pretty much been a fun time.
