Its not an AWFUL game, but some of ots design decisions are poor, the VA for the protags for instance adds little to the game and makes new characters you start up feel too samey. The main plot is kinda eh too.

Fallout 4 was decently fun to play, but it felt mediocre in most aspects. Quests, dialogue, main story, settlement building, dungeons, gun modifications, all those aspects were lacking. The combat was about the only thing that was alright, but still not the best.

It's moderately enjoyable if you forget it was supposed to be an rpg and you just play it solely like an open world fps survival game which is what they intended. I recommend playing it from the start in survival difficulty and to not use power armor since it breaks the game.
