A game like Street Fighter is much harder for casuals than Tekken or DoA. In Tekken you can just mash and something nice will come out. Mashing doesn't work in 2D games the same way. In the old days, EVO decided what games were good. Now the players do. One of these entities knows good fighting games better than the other.
