>>

No game worth pirating is protected by denuvo. At least not for long enough for me to care.
I'm happy to wait a few months to get it free generally.
>>
>>344862841
ROTT, MGS5 and Hitman.

Got them off key sites.
>>
DOOM and MGSV about $30 each
>>
>>344862841
I preordered Deus Ex. Because I want to support the series. That said, I already pirated 7 Denuvo games.
>>
>>344862841
I'm buying the the good games I like, not overhyped AAA shit.
>>
>>344862985
>Lords of the Fallen
Was it ever fixed to be playable and bug-free?

I got my cousin to buy hitman for me, and i paid him back with a bunch of free codes i got from /v/.
he's one of those people who just like to see more games on his profile, so he was happy.
>>
>>344864914
so basically a fool?

if he wants to see a long list of games tell him to open kick ass torrents or pirate bay
>>
>>344865238
there's no bragging rights for pirates. there's no pirate profile where he can show all his friends how much games he has.
>>
joke's on you.
3DM just cracked Denuvo, they are streaming it right now.
>>
>>344865453
>3DM just cracked Denuvo, they are streaming it right now.

Pretty much this

not gonna link it tho because Denuvo-fag mods can be arsey here these days
>>
>>344865453
so they made a crack but not releasing it just showing off so there is effectively NO crack for the public
>>
>>344866350

Not him but they did the same with MGSV

Sure. Denuvo has brought back the joy of games to me. When you pay for a game and know that people can't just steal it it's more fun somehow.
>>
>>344866595
its called sunk costs fallacy
>>
>>344866595

Agreed. I 100% tomb raider and had fun doing it

Even got all the card collectibles

I know man, I also love the fact people can never sell or trade legit games after completion though, like people used to be able too, dead money.

heh
>>
>>344866891
The idea of selling or trading games is stupid anyway and only (somewhat) made sense when they were inseparable from the media.

A video game is a service like a massage or a concert. You can't resell it because it's not a thing.

I linked it.
>>
>>344866820
It's not even bad, you just hang on to something you paid for and try to find good in it instead of throwing away like you would with a free thing.
Unless the game is complete shit.

Yes, and sadly, they are all fucking garbage.
I think i'm going to stick to buying CD Keys when it's a Denuvo game, seems like a curse desu.
>>
>>344866969
>The idea of selling or trading games is stupid

Sure it is, if you like throwing away money and having games you no longer and will never play again in your collection just sitting there when you could make money from them to buy new games or hardware etc, I grew up in the 80's and remember these times well.

>A video game is a service
it is these days, good times when you could sell or trade your old games on, which is why I nolonger buy them.
>>
>>344866971
>I linked it.

You rebel
>>
>>
>>344867263
Sorry gramps, things change and mostly for the better. Reselling was never a good thing as it doesn't benefit the people who actually make the games but it was inevitable with how old media vessels worked.

Digital is better in every way. It's faster, more convenient, copies never break, take no physical space and they secure income for the developers - not EBgames or wherever poorfags resell games. The problem of course is piracy but our pals at Denuvo are fixing that.
>>
>>344867431
meaningless.
>>
>>344867487

Whatever man, enjoy your post-purchase rationalization

The Irony is, anti-piracy advocates probably watch and listen to all kinds of unlicensed vids on YouTube etc etc and think nothing of if, funny really.
>>
Thank god only shitty games use Denuvo :^)
>>
>>344867948
Joke's on you I subscribe to a paid music service.

On the contrary anon, the jokes on you.
>>
>>344868281
I used to obsessively collect MP3s but this is just an objectively better way of listening to music.
>>
>>344867487
Yea it was a good thing when you actually bought a game and the entire game was on the medium. Then years later when it was worth money you could sell it at a good price. Digital has no worth millenial
>>
>>344868373
If they have no worth why are people buying them? Check mate, gramps. Only people stuck in the past care more about the vessel than the actual product.
>>
>>344868281
post more Jeremy
>>
>>344868460
Yea because your digital games are worth as much as my suikodens, sealed ff tatics, or power stone 2.
>>
>>344862841
Well I haven't pirated a PC game in over a year. So yeah. But that has nothing to do with DRM.
>>
>>344868702
A lot more, actually. Sure some chumps will pay out the nose for shit they think will rekindle the childhood but the sum of what people will pay for new digital game is way larger.
>>
>>344868460
>If they have no worth why are people buying them?

He means they're worthless because they're unsellable unlike tangible media.

It will click one day anon when you look at your library worth 1000's and you can't do a single thing with it

dead money
>>
>>344868849
I can play them? I can't resell a massage but does that mean it's worthless?

Video games aren't steaks or cars but digital services.

Nobody pays full price on steam because why would you. Nobody pays over $100 for a steam game and you get nothing in return for your investment
>>
>>344868926

You're analogies are crass, good day.
>>
>>344867487
wow you're a flamboyant faggot and an anticonsumer retard
thank god your shit opinion doesn't change shit, and piracy will be going strong anyway

more interesting question, why do mods don't ban theses retards shill threads
>>
>>344868961
Buying video games is spending not investing. Your return is the fun.
