We can't really decided it's place historically until the gen itself is ..history. Comparing the libraries of these consoles this early on to the entirety of a 360 or PS2 or a SNES is kind of ridiculous and unfair. I guess you could do a moratorium on the WiiU since it's all but abandoned at this point but that thing was always a fucking joke.

The Wii U is having its last official game released this year if not the very beginning of next.
XBox One and the PS4 have been out for over 3 years.
Unless some crazy magic comes out from multiple devs very soon this generation is going to be the worst of all time.
