I think the gameplay in Azura's Wrath is better than everyone says but still not very good.
I mean everyone is like QTE THE GAME but when you play it the vast majority is normal gameplay just like any other game even though there are tons of QTE segments as well. Boss fights can be legit cool to play.

I just assume that, they wanted to make a sequel but Capcom didn't want to so they just made it DLC.

God damn it.
If only this game didn't have the action elements. They weren't even originally going to be in the game at all. They added them to try and make it more popular with a western market. Makes me wonder what could've been, if they'd dropped the combat entirely and focused all their resources and development time on everything else.
