The only outright awful Mega Man game I've played other than Soccer is X7. The rest are average to amazing and I'm okay with that. I've played all of them and still would play more if they pumped them out. It is a shame he's just a mobile title cash in for capcom now.

Considering every Mega Man except the RPGs can be beaten in a maximum of like 5 hours, that doesn't add up to a ton of playtime if you don't play those RPGs.

Mighty No. 9 was a flop because it had a shit gimmick, horribly long and unskippable cutscenes, bad graphics, poor level design, and poor game design overall.

The other thing to consider is that this is a series that was being pumped out sometimes several times a year for over a decade. When you get people hooked on something like that and then just cut them off suddenly they're usually not gonna be happy.

I'd love to see a megaman zero 5 or zx3 or yea, X9 but i guess none of them were ever that financially successful enough to motivate a sequel
