Post games that have a great importance or value to the industry. Of course there's shit like Pac Man and whatnot but let's get creative.
I chose pic related 'cause it essentially saved 3D platformers that were non Nintendo games.
I'm convinced this inspired re4 to be what it became.
it also blew the door wide open on censorship (again) and caused a dialogue.
But 3d platformers are dead now anyway, so what good did it do?

Correction: I meant to say series, but you get the point. While its hardly a platformer, it still is one by popular census. And while some games have more than others, it definitely is still alive and well. Just not talked about as much.

I got it for pc, it wasn't as fun as the original, but it was still playable. The fps cap was stupid though.
