Once looked over at my buddy playing Destiny after playing Melee for a couple matches and it looked laggy as shit. My friend thought I was nuts. And that's just a 60-30 comparison.
120+ is so crisp and smooth I can't see games being locked to a lower frame rate nowadays
60fps is sufficent though, if I was made of money I would get a 1440p monitor at 144fps and the whole 9 yards, I'm not so I stick with 1080 60

4k I can understand, but going 1440p (without gsync) is not expensive. 144hz isn't going to be fully used in stupidly-taxing games, but EVERYTHING else(desktop, league, etc) will benefit.
