They're ok but I really don't like my classes being RNG based and then having to waste turns to get the cards I need. And you're gonna want at least one anyway because when they can cure all ailments on the party when they are in back up parties, and that's extremely crucial since the only way they thought to make boss fights difficult was to have bosses slap 3+ ailments on everyone on a single turn, and it's impossible for you to block them all

Your characters become super broken. Out of the starting classes God Hand is the best at taking out dragons in the beginning. Choose what you like because this game isn't hard. You can't skip attack animations which makes every fight longer than it needs to be. Make a little boy duelist with a deep manly voice.

Just stick to dual-blades. Cyclone dance is the most reliable way to kill dragonbane seeds since they will only always take 1 damage and give you a shit ton of SP if you defeat them.

Agent is pretty good. If auto-hack procs on a dragon you can use 2 free turns to set up without worries; if it procs in random battles you can instead kill the mob and recover a bunch of mana. The only problem is that it can't dish out a lot of damage, except for that one fight. Also they can get a million extra turns.

Does party order matter in terms of damage?
As for my team I'm planning on using Godhand/Samurai/Duelist and then switching to Godhand/Fortuner/Mage as they unlock, is this retarded or will it work fine?

Yes you should play them, they actually are important for the overall story and multiple characters are recurring characters. 2020-II is also important but that's not translated yet.
If you didn't pick a shota Duelist as the main character with a male God-hand duelist for your starter team you are playing this game completely wrong.

Not really, it has the same kind of create-a-party system and the skill tree is similar but it's more JRPG-ish than straight up dungeon crawler. The setting also ranges from near future to the more standard post-post-apocalypse of EO and super technologically-advanced ancients due to time travel being involved.

Neat, we can finally officially talk about it.
My only complaint is that it's too easy. Pretty much any party combination works until the post game, Rune Knights with Brave Sword or Banishers with Earthquake are absolute murder. Mages with Mage's Contract + Mana Bullet are also murder, really everything is a bit OP. Also, the story is a bit too anime, though the sudden leap off the cliff SMT style in the last chapters is interesting.

As far as my experience goes:
God Hand is presented as a healer but their healing isn't actually great and you should focus more on their attacking skills. Max out Jab ASAP as maxing it will make it apply 2 G instead of 1 which lets you instantly use your stat-down skills. Try and max out Quartetto as that'll always be your strongest move, just remember to use your stat moves first. Also get God React for extra turns. Final Flame can be a good investment if you have extra points and are feeling lucky. God Hands also have hands-down the best EX-Skill
Samurai depend on what weapon you're using; it's best to stick to one as otherwise you'll be SP-starved forever. Katana Samurai should put some points into Power Bolt Drop and Whirlwind (for Dragonsbane Seeds) early game, later on grab Garuda Whirlwind and Sixteen Hand Slash. Also the game doesn't tell you this but Sheathed Stance will drop enemy defences when used while Unsheathed will drop their attack. For Unsheathed max Cyclone Dance for seeds and get Hidden Shadow and Windy Canopy Get Invigorate to 5 or so (at which point it'll heal ailments too) and max out Jinka React as it'll lower the threshold needed to give extra turns.
Agents should focus more on their gun skills as hacking is situational. Grab Assassin's React and Hide, and max Rush Shot for a million extra turns, and Air Assault for quick mob wipes. Bush Trap can also help if your Agent is magnetic to attacks.
Duelist is fairly straightforward in what their skills do, put lots of points into X Burn and their fire skills as the damage really stacks up. Also be sure to invest in their traps as Judgment does insane damage for when you get it and it's fairly easy to trigger. Duelist's starting draw amount and search abilities are expensive to upgrade but worth it.

While he's right that hacking is kind of shaky, if you can successfully hack something then you are in business because one of the later skills for hacked enemies basically neuters the enemy, boss or not, their damage, and defenses go straight down the shitter after that skill is used though I can't really remember the name right now, and their's also a skill which lets them regenerate everyone's MP if used on a hacked enemy too
Agents also have a skill which lets them hack an enemy on the onset of the battle, it's luck based, but really nice when it triggers, I consider it worth the SP

Rune Knight seems like a standard magic knight attacker, but their true draw is Brave Sword, which you get mid-late game. Maxed out, it can one-shot basically anything that isn't a boss for the cheap price of 70% of your health. Drain Sword and Aspir Sword also deal good damage and help them sustain themselves. Use their EX-Skill in a pinch to shove another Brave Sword down a boss's throat. Berserk also does great damage if you're too low for Brave Sword to do much, Clench gives you a free life and Knight's Pride deals massive damage if your Rune Knight dies. Don't bother with their healing skills.
Fortuner should just max the ailments you want to use, and be sure to put points into both Oracle skills. Poison is a safe bet. Once you get a Revelation skill to a certain point you can target enemy groups (with the exception of Death, which isn't really worth it anyway). Dynamic and Magic Negate can save your ass, and Gift For You is both useful and kekworthy. Their EX-Skill is the typical healer full-party revive/heal panic button. Sacrifice is a waste of 9999 SP.

Hacking becomes a lot better once you've got Quick Hack to minimum lv 4 to hit all enemies, and minimum Hack lv 4. The easiest way to hack imo is using the TROY skills, focus on one depending on the team, and then Hack from there. Hopefully someone has higher emnity than the Agent or you've used Hide

Mages are basically a more straightforward Duelist and don't rely on RNG, maxing out their single-target element skills will generally get you more mileage than the group-target ones. Mana Bullet is also great damage though expensive. Mage's Consent makes your next magic attack do iron man numbers but it's very expensive in terms of MP. Mages are the best healers in the game, their Cure should be maxed as it will eventually be able to group-target. Shieldcraft will save your ass as Mages are made of paper. Dead Man's React lasts for 9 turns at max rank, it's really useful when it triggers. Heaven's Press is a waste of points.
Banishers are weird, and you want to try and get their max bomb count to max which will take forever. Don't waste time on Dragon Buster as Earthquake does more damage to everything when maxed. Comet Spear is great for single-target and will also let you avoid an attack. Deafening Roar can be useful but only lasting 2 turns hurts it. Assault Spear or Over Spear should probably be your "main" attacks. Your EX-Skill fully restores your bombs, so keep note of that in emergencies. Probably the biggest example of late bloomer in the game, maxed-out Earthquake kills absolutely everything in the postgame.

Battle are in a first person perspective, but then you get animations when you use skills.
