Can somebody explain to me why they enjoyed 8?

I prefer FFX to be honest but FF8 is a better game than FF7. I don't know I replayed them both recently.
And I have no trouble finishing FF8 while I'm getting bored pretty fast with FF7.
It might also be nostalgia, I don't know.

I loved 8 to death purely out of nostalgia. It's what intro'd me to FF and then 13 made me wary of how 15 will turn out. Fucking loved 4 and 6.

I didn't like Rinoa all that much until I got older. I played FF8 the first time when I was like 11 when it came out, and fell in love with the junction system. I like it better than the other systems like Materia or Crystasomething in FF13.
