Hiding shoulders is a good addition, but unfortunately most chest pieces look like utter garbage without them because all of them are just flat textures covering the skin.

I do it with sets because it brings me back to the best time I had in the game.
T5 and T6 were played with the closest friends and guild and wearing those sets helps me remember how much fun the game used to be. It's a nostalgic thing but also a nod to the great times we used to have.

I've been playing the Legion Beta for a few weeks and there a few things I'm fairly disappointed with. I'll let the fags that monitor this thread for meat to troll about refer to this if they're thirsty enough for flaws.
Enemies in the Broken Isles scale with your level. They did this so you can approach any zone you want (though there are regions in zones that have max level enemies which are meant to be addressed once you hit max level) Scaling enemies are contrary to everything about RPGS in that your character should get stronger than the monsters around them when they level up and since WoW goes off item level, you may find the mobs you were fighting grow slightly more difficult until you get a few better pieces of gear. This becomes INCREDIBLY more obvious once you hit level 110 where the item level demand scales at its highest. I thought hitting 110 was something worth being glad about until the enemies at the end of the quest line I was on saw an immense boost in health and damage.
To further build off the new scaling system is how you level in Legion. You don't improve yourself by leveling. There are no perks to improve abilities you already have like in WoD. There are no new talent tiers to select from past level 100 (except for Demon Hunters) and there are no new abilities besides the one you might get when you obtain your artifact weapon which you get before you even enter the Broken Isle. Instead, your progression is built off leveling your artifact weapon which sounds fine but leveling it before you reach level 110 is very slow. The experience for artifacts is gained in a variety of ways, typically through consumables you get at the end of quest lines, uncommonly found on enemies or numerous chests scattered around the Broken Isles. The amount of experience these consumables grant you vary and they can be multiplied by further advancing your guild hall

Once you hit level 110 those artifact experience consumables start becoming insanely more prevalent through quests, drops and anything in between but between 100 and 110 they're not given to you all that often. Essentially, level 100-110 granted you next to nothing since the true character strength progression is in your artifact weapon meaning the game doesn't really start to pick up until AFTER you hit max level. What's the fucking point of the 100/110 trek besides finishing zones? At the very least, leveling to 110 felt as though it took much less time than leveling to max in WoD.
So about class halls. They're only similar to Garrisons in that you send off minions (of which there are only about 8) to do long missions which can grant you EXP (which is kind of funny because again, leveling to 110 didn't take long) Artifact EXP (not much) and to further advance your class hall quest line. The shortest glass hall mission I saw (beside the tutorial one) was 3 hours. The rest can range from 4 to 12. Artifact research, which is what grants you the artifact EXP multiplier takes beyond twelve hours. There's no reason to just dick around in your class hall as there are no profession/gathering-related activities there. You there just for missions, class hall quests and to level your artifact weapon. If you're worried about these things being the new Garrisons - Don't.

I actually only first played WoW a few months ago for the first time with my friends till I hit level cap. It was okay but honestly as soon as I hit end game the whole thing became boring as fuck. Was also frustrated about WoD because the entire group split up when we started that and it got lame. I can't imagine paying $60 for an expansion for this game it was fun for the paltry $20 I spent total on it but I wouldn't play it again

I find it funny that the quests from the garrison quest line usually rewards you with an item that gives 5 artifact power. That just seems really retarded since even when you first start out you need at least 500 artifact power to get your second skill point.
Another thing I don't understand is when Blizzard stripped out the talents they said 'it's not very fun choosing skills that give a % damage increase' but now that's what all the talents on the artifact do, except for the three that change your current skills slightly.
Also world quests are now more mandatory than the daily quests were since you have to do them to progress your class hall quest line. You have to do 50 at one point, and then 1 'elite' quest. They are also where you get the majority of your gear upgrades and artifact currency.
They also made heroics even more easier now, I guess they want everyone to start doing mythic dungeons instead. I haven't done one yet.

Everything in Legion feels like Blizzard is trying to draw it out as long as possible so it feels like you still have content to do.
Right now I need 24k artifact power to get my next skillpoint and I still need 15 skillpoints to finish my weapon. I need to get honored with a specific faction and unsurprisingly it's the slowest faction to gain rep with. Everyone else I've gotten to honored with just from questing, but the Nightfallen I've done every quest and daily that I can and I'm still only 3/4 of the way through friendly.
Upgrades in the class hall take 18 days to complete, and the upgrades aren't even that great. Same with artifact research.

I've pretty much done nothing but pvp in Legion.
Astral Shift is a pretty amazing baseline ability, but Enh is no where near overpowered.
They basically function the same as ever. They do crazy damage once they get up close, but they are glass canons. They also still get complete wrecked if they are too kited. They SHOULD be scary if they get on top of you. They have very little they can do to keep themselves alive.
I am pretty excited Ghost Wolf gets the "can't be below 100% speed" aspect back though. That was always a neat pvp trick that rewards skilled players.
It's been tough to make a decision since fire Mage looks like a lot of fun and unholy DK has a sweet artifacts but I'm probably gonna main a holy paly for this expansion.
I don't know what race to roll though, humans are too chunky and I already have a male BElf. Anyone got pics of paladin mogs for other races?

Unholy DK examples:
