I'm a server at a local pub. Today a group of 6 20/30-something year olds, every one of them attractive, athletic, business-attired, 'normie,' etc., sat in my section.
All of them were playing Pokemon Go.
I like to play tennis at a local park, go for jogs and bike-rides, etc. Any time I looked over someone's shoulder to see why their phone was out, I'd say the chances were 50/50 I saw Pokemon on the phone.
The craze is definitely back, if only temporarily; who knows what kind of longevity it will have in the new market. But nostalgia is definitely working in its favor. I'm hearing more about people my age (mid-20s) and up playing the game as opposed to kids.

Even then, I still consider MineCraft's power to be miniscule compared to the great Pokemon craze of the 90's. Mostly due to the fact that the internet wasn't popular at the time, so people were far more vocal about the interests and fads they liked. Couldn't sit in your room with your computer and talk to other fans or kids playing the games you liked; had to go out into the real world and experience them yourself.
