Have you ever went to E3 or any game-related cons? What was your experience?
I have never been to one, and therefor I have no experience to tell you.
Went to Anime Expo and had sex with a Tracer cosplay in my hotel room. When my friend walked in, the Tracer cosplayer said "Hoi, you didn't say anything about a threeway, love!"

This was during his golden age. It was a great year ps3 just coming out. First year nintendo dropped out to hist their own eventfor the upcoming wii release later that year.
What are the point of cons? Are they fun?

I've never been to a convention, but I used to be staff for a monthly LAN party. Those were the days. 40-60 dudes piling in to a hotel conference room and playing videogames all day and into the night, then tearing everything down and driving home at 2AM.
Broadband is nice in some respects, but killing LANs was a high price to pay.
