A fan swing
A circular projectile
The fan does ABSOLUTELY nothing, and all enemies take multiple hits to kill, and there's no hitstun so they'll just dash through your hits shit all over you
The goal is to get a bunch of ying-yang symbols but don't know how to get them to spawn.

Mode B beaten. It works basically like Game A, but they don't tell you the original Japanese word. Also, since it's a game for children even if you fail one of the puzzles they let you advance to the next, you can see here I failed 6 and 7.
I believe this is one of the first games to come out for the Famicom, even before Mario. It's ok for what it is.

Okay, this game is basically Mega Man, but you have a shitty short range boomerang instead. Enemies take forever to kill, I ran into an asshole with a boomerang and he had more range and took several hits, so unless you get upgrades for range you have to take damage, which is garbage.

Got Kings of the Beach. Wasn't even in my +1000 roms folder.
Okay, the game I got is called Air Fortress for the NES. I just did a level of it, first part was a pretty standard sidescrolling shooter and the second part was a platforming segment where the little guy got off his spacebike and went into the fort to wreck shit up. Powerups I picked up during the shooter segment translated into jetpack fuel and missiles for the platformer segment. Pretty neat concept, not too hard yet but I'm getting the feeling this will get intense as fuck later on. These screenshots turned out a bit fucked up, but you can see the Mother Brain -looking motherfucker I killed at the end.

Here's what I've got so far.
You play as a kid with a tiny dagger with no reach, but incredible stunlock ability. He can only stab forwards.
You can collect blue lockboxes. They are your health. You can gather a lot of them, but you have practically no invulnerability.
If you hold up, you can fly. This consumes (F), which is seen in the status bar and can be replenished by picking up (F) bags. Each bag sets it to exactly 250. Touching an enemy causes you to fall down.
You can't end a level without killing all of the pirates. The pirates are not really threatening and just pace back and forth. The swooping bats, man-sized drop spiders (!), and falling pine needles are your real enemies, and infinitely respawn.
I don't think this game has continues.

The controls are really weird. You either jump high or low, and it seems to be completely random which one you get every time you press jump. Holding or tapping doesn't make a difference.
There's no invincibility frames, so you can die nearly instantly from an enemy.

This game is shit. You move like a turtle that's trying to hold in a shit and you can only jump up with next to no maneuverability. Enemies move faster than you too, so if you fuck up a jump you're already dead but you can't do anything about it for several seconds until the game actually kills you.

The stages seem really tough, but you have infinite spells so you need to use them to their full extent to survive. Imagine a Mega Man game where you start right off the bat with all your abilities at Wily stages

Well the second level hasn't been as bad. Introduces Birds in an NES game, which can't be good.
This game is a chore to take pictures of since it spawns infinite blue shyguys from both sides of the screen at you every second. The Koala shyguys and the Bomb throwing ones in the tree in this level were fun though.

I don't even know what hurts you with bosses and not. The second boss's giant flail couldn't hurt me on the second go, and neither could he. He just ran through me and I stunlocked him.
Third boss has an interesting gimmick. When you hit her, she splits in two and the chunks start throwing arrows. Hit those and they split into bird things that "attack" you, but don't seem to do any damage. Those ones turn into a swarm of bird that don't seem to hurt either.
Luckily killing her got me another life.
The worst thing about this is the controls. You have no speed or freedom of movement, just one slow move speed and an even worse jump. It's just not very fun.
