Ono said about 18 months ago that it's still in active development, but is in the process of being "heavy reworked" (So hopefully that means dropping the F2P model and the AssCreed/.hack-type thing). Yoshida echoed this not long after, saying that Japan Studio personnel were still assigned to it, but that he wasn't allowed to talk about it any further.

Some guy on NeoFAG who apparently has a decent track record with leaks also said that it's supposedly going to be re-revealed alongside the NEO.
