If you input Sean in who killed Mira, Eric will say "I knew it was you" before blowing his brains out, they also call him Sean if you shoot Delta in the study which can happen before the Q reveal (it's how I found out about it and I didn't even realize what it meant until I saw the explanation). It's definitely the dirtiest trick they played to pull the twist off but it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility and it really would have given it away.
To me the game seemed like it was trying to be pretty ridiculous on purpose so the exaggerated gore didn't bother me too much.

I think that's how I feel about VLR. I see people making a list of grievances and I just think "but the good stuff was so good that those things don't really bring it down for me." With ZTD though, I think there wasn't quite as much positive to outweigh the negative but I still had fun regardless.

Just finished the game tonight.
I understand why people nitpicking the story would have problems with it, but fuck it I really enjoyed it. It's just as ridiculous as 999's or VLR's story was near the end, but by the time you get to that point you've already been through so many great moments that it doesn't matter anymore. There's plot holes and lame explanations for some stuff, who cares. It was a fun ride and it hit the same highs as the other games did for me emotionally.
I teared up a little bit when they had to send the babies through the transporter when they ran out of food. I think the thought of everyone starving to death afterwards, just hoping that the copy of their children went on to live a better life, was heartbreaking.
If only there was a history where they discovered the pantry though...

and ZTD butchered Junpei, Akane, Sigma, and Phi. Funny the only good characters were the new ones. Every returning character was a downgrade of their selves from previous games, in art design too.

Is it just me or were the puzzle rooms really, really fucking easy in this game? I distinctly remember difficult puzzle rooms in VLR, but here the only room that "felt" like it wasn't made for 5 year olds was the transporter room.
Also, the "twists" were fucking retarded and none of them mattered. WHY DID DELTA EVEN PARTICIPATE IN THE GAME? At least in VLR it made sense because sigma had to train himself, but in ZTD it seems like an excuse to have a SUPER COOL TWEEST that actually had no impact on the story. ZTD was a mistake.

The rec room and zero's study were the absolute worst puzzle rooms in the series. 99% of the "puzzles" in those rooms were just finding a note that says SYMBOL = NUMBER and you find where you input the numbers and thats it.

I just beat this game. Man, was it fucking disappointing compared to 999 and VLR. I was waiting the entire game for the ?/Kyle at the end of VLR to be weaved in to the story, but it was completely ignored.
Anyway, if these fuckers actually wanted to stop Radical-6 why didn't they just just bring back the knowledge about how the cure was created? Even if just as a last resort.

Don't bother with axe, coffin or knife ending. Get the one non manadatory ending by going through the door people tell you not too, because that gives you an awesome moment.
