people are only just starting to get good at SFV. 5000 motherfuckers, there is going to be so much blood. everyone is worrying about ibuki setplay, who can honestly say they've seen every vega setup, every laura setup, or whoever? people are only just finding the good stuff, people have been shit at the game for a while until now.

I wish I could care about AnimEVO as a tournament, but they throw so many fucking games in there that it all just loses value. Will still watch BB, UNIEL, and AH, but probably won't care enough to watch the others even though I play some of them.

It's popular in Japan because apparently the gameplay is really solid despite the game having really shitty character models and animations. Extremely fundamental-based with less flashy shenanigans.
