Like, Vexen, Zexion, and Lexaeus were all defeated nearly a year before Xigbar, Xaldin, Axel, and Saix, but they all show up at pretty much the same time, which almost implies that all of their heartless were defeated at the same time and after all of their nobodies were defeated. How would Terra being a Light even work? He's a Darkness right now. I guess his battle could be internal or in the heart or whatever, but otherwise he'd either stay a Darkness until after the end, or he'd be brought back before the end to be a Light, which means Xehanort would need another Nort.
And if Terra is really meant to be a Light with no other alternatives, why the fuck did Xehanort even Nort him in the first place if he wants this CLASH OF LIGHT AND DARKNESS shindig to go down so badly. It'd just be putting a stop to his own plan.

I'm so glad I only played the 1st and 2nd ones before seeing the shitfest this series was going to become.
Back when it was (mostly) just about a kid who explores fantasy worlds with his magic key in order to find his friend and rescue his girl. There was a big bad enemy who had little minions spread out in the worlds. Beat the minions, beat the boss, happy ending.

The x-blade is the counterpart of Kingdom Hearts and protected it, yet it was broken into 13 shards of darkness and 7 fragments of light because darkness overtook the world.
