It's this weird situation where a game's early version gets modded, more people come onto the project less interested in finishing old content as much as forcing new content in, and eventually the whole fucking thing's such a catastrophic example of spaghetti code with a development team that is entirely volunteer and probably feuding with each other over whether foot fetishists should be accomodated, that any kind of project roadmap goes out the window and it becomes stuck in limbo, always growing but never completing, probably fragmenting into several parallel versions. Reminds me of SS13.
