I think CSGO's rng and retarded spray patterns hampers the amount of skill required, even if you learn roughly where bullets will go even with rng it's often a shit show of two players vaguely trying to hit one another by dragging their crosshairs lower and left or right, to me aiming skill is pointing at a place on the screen and intending to hit that point, whether that's a lead shot for projectiles or hit scan shot on an enemy you hit where you aim, period.

And csgo isn't? The game hasn't had a major vac wave since Operation Bloohound back in May 2015. At least 1.6 has good movement. Valve seems keen to keep the skill ceiling as low as possible in csgo to baby all the cod faggots moving to cs.

I never really played quake but from what I've heard about it, it sounds like a very respectable franchise with a high skill ceiling. The players movement in quake is what can difference a good player between a godlike player iirc

siege sucks. people die in 2 shots and move in slow motion. The netcode is bad to the point where you just fall over dead when you see people without seeing them fire their gun.

It exists as a tutorial and the final mission matchmakes you with other players against the AI. Other than that their is a barebones Terrorist Hunt mode you can play alone or with 4 others against AI. The meat of the game is the multiplayer so i'd say it isn't worth it at all if you are only looking for a singleplayer experience. Fun game tho

Without the hyperbole, it had netcode issues at launch which have been mostly fixed. It's slower paced 5v5 and has different operators for both offense and defense that have unique gadgets and weapons like deployable turrets, heartbeat sensors and drones that can destroy traps. I personally like it a lot and put 200 hours in it so far, hopefully more when the next update comes out in a month or so. I'd recommend waiting for a sale and or avoiding the 15 dollar version which makes you farm for experience to unlock operators.

Just give it a year or two and Siege won't be in the esports scene anymore, I mean it's just an Ubisoft game.

Its fun but everyone is terrible so the only way to play is to roam and kill everyone yourself which is surprisingly easy since nobody clears rooms.

Siege puts an emphasis on teamwork and communicating effectively to win in ranked matches. /v/ fails miserably at this very skill.
