This was my first "souls" game other than DS1 and I just played it a few weeks ago. It's such bullshit I spent 4 hours getting through the 1st level and I didn't even beat it. I got to the two werewolves with the best gear I could buy and they fucking 1 shot me so I quit because it took me an hour to get through to them and didn't wanna do it again.
Returned for all my money back by saying it didn't run.

if youve played dark souls then you should know how these games go and have a certain amount of transferable skills. if it legitimately took you 4 hours to get through the first stage without even touching the boss then you are seiously doing something wrong and needed to adjust your strategy.

try farming some echoes at the farming spot with all the weird ghost things in the lecture building

that's a pretty tough weapon to take him on with, i'd just try to ignore the weapons abilities and just visceral him whenever you can
dont use them memelight waves save your bullets for viscerals
just try to get the timing down

Yeah i usually pull it off in the first phase, it's just in the 2nd he starts hoping around far to much and don't get as much opportunities.

he can be very hard to visceral interrupt when hes jumping around, bait out the right attacks and try the blunderbuss so he isn't too rANdoM with his positioningthere is a really OP droplet blood gem down the elevator i forget where, also a blood rock down there behind thefrenzy brains
