Why does the AI sometimes just derp and has them circling around not attacking?
I guess it's to not overwhelm the player or something?
The fighter ones seem appropriately aggressive, it's mostly the strider ones. I guess they try to get a shot on the player while your busy with someone else? They do love to come in out of nowhere for that helm splitter attack, which has fucked me over in Hard mode on multiple occasions.

My point was that it takes away all the challenge, since you can stock up your party full with items. Then the only thing required is enough DPS to take down enemy before you run out of healing items (which happens very rarely)

Well, that and breaking enemy defenses, which really isn't too much of a problem until BBI.

There are still a lot of things in BBI that can flat out one-shot you, or nearly one-shot you and take you through your curative stock in no time. By the time they stop being so threatening you're so powerful that curatives aren't a big deal anymore.
