Horizon's main character seems lame to me because during E3 I was watching interviews for it and the creators went off on a tangent about how it was "very important to the development staff that the main character of the next game be female" and to me that's the definition of pandering. It's recognizing that there is a market for people and reviewers that want strong women in media and capitalizing on it. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just a turnoff to me personally. just wait a year, buy goty pre-owned. you won't give any money to the devs, through physical new purchase or dlc, and you'll save probably at least 80$ because it'll be cheap as hell and it will have a fuckton of dlc that cost an arm and a leg when it first came out.
