What makes it even better is that the theme of the dungeon transfers into battles so you get to listen to the whole thing without it being cut off. Of all the things Zestiria did wrong, this was one of the few it did right.

I love the JSR and JSRF soundtracks, but there's a handful of songs that are so fucking terrible that they demote JSR from god tier. Still top-tier soundtracks though.

The songs themselves were good enough, but the fact they changed depending on the situation you were in (when you get on your hoverboard, pull out your gun, get in a fight, turn into dark jak) is what pushed it up to god tier

I think Rash is really well done also. The little touches like Hisakos stage execution are brilliant. RAAMs done well too but honestly there's really not much they could do with him to make him that interesting.

Say what you will about the game itself, you have to admit that the music is fucking majestic.
The music is perfect for when you just need some beautiful background noise but also want to listen to more than just the ocean or birds or whatever. It's designed to add to the atmosphere without becoming the focus, allowing you to more easily focus on your current task. This works both in and out of the game and is why I have it on shuffled repeat as I type this.
