Don't get the Pretty Girls Battle Mahjong game on steam. The AI is pretty weak. However if all you want to do is practice assembling yaku it's not too bad.
All you really need to do is play with a printout of all the yaku, and then pay attention to the discard pool and play process of elimination. It's not that hard if you focus.
