I get the point of the cinematics, but you lost out on a lot of the richness of writing that the games had previously

It really wasn't that bad but yeah it was way weaker than the other two games. Still had ton of fun and im kinda sad that this great series is now over.

I feel like I'm missing something really important.
The idea that there timelines for every possibility means that if the possibility exists, then that universe must exist (like rolling the three ones, or the rock paper scissors tournament).
So what's the fucking point of any of this? There's already a universe where radical-6 doesn't escape or where the religious dude fails for some reason. All the characters are doing is selfishly trying to get their consciousness into the best universe. It seems pretty pointless when you look at the big picture.
