No. It has potential, but right now it literally isn't a game. Here's hoping they keep working on it instead of being complacent.

Data use isn't that bad, its the combination of Location data, AR / Camera (which can be turned on or off) and Bluetooth (if you have the bracelet thing) that rapes the battery.
I have 4GB per month and then throttled unlimited data after that. I never use public wifi though for safety reasons.

This game literally encourages you to enter shady back-alleys for free pokeballs. This makes it much more exciting, but it's going to get a lot of naive stupid people stabbed.

Data isn't the biggest problem it's that it drains like 40% battery/hour.
I don't understand why people complain about data anyway, I pay $50 a month for unlimited 3g/4g+calls/texts.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a Gastly/Haunter find, but I did catch a Marowak and Hitmonchan was on the radar at a local park. I'll head back there and hope for the best some time.
Also hatched a Squirtle and a Charmander to compliment my Bulbasaur choice.
