Open world was good until you got into a race and the game turned into a map reading simulator.
burnout 3 is still the best burnout.
open world added fucking nothing to the game for me
I want races with a fucking start and finish and I want the tracks to be tailored for that exact fucking race.
NFS:HP was as close to enjoyable as open world racing got because at least it let you select your races from the goddamn menu.
also the fact that EA took criterion off their new offroad racing IP to put them onto starwars games is fucking depressing as shit, RIP criterion I liked the games you made once upon a time.
Traffic checking was the red flag that Criterion ran out of ideas for closed-track Burnout.
