Anything that we might have missed on the nogaems PS3?
I only just realized I didn't get Metal Gear Rising, so I'm getting that. I already Nier, MGS4 and SOTC HD collection.
Don't mind if it's a multiplat either.
everything worthwhile is just getting remade for the PS4
I never got far into Ni No Kuni because of the kiddie game atmosphere.
Just bought it because of /v/ creaming itself when it got released and because Studio Ghibli was involved.
Should I dust off my PS3 and play it? Haven't touched a console in years because PC is just better. I don't even know if it still works.
Check Sengoku Basara series, it's extremely good.

I played the demo of this and it left me conflicted because it seems really polished, but the underlying game seemed very dry and soulless.
I might give it another try purely because there is nothing else worth waiting for now except maybe TLG or No Mans Sky (and No Mans Sky will prob be shit)

No. Ni no Kuni is extremely mediocre jrpg. Only graphics is great everything else is nothing special. Side quests are awful repetetive fedex garbage.

that was my problem with NNK too. I like the world and style and the music of it but the game is rather dull and the story is, well i can barely remember it to be honest and i've beaten it.

I'm so disappointed that after all these years I still can't put custom firmware on it. Really at this point I just want to put PS1 games on it. PS1 emulation on PC is garbage, PS1 emulation on the PSP is garbage because of no L2/R2 and I don't want to play PS1 games on a handheld, and my actual PS1 is fucked up from doing the swap trick too many times.

Nier is fantastic, stick with it all the way through ending D. It's an unforgettable experience overall.

Dragon's Dogma (same devs as Sengoku Basara)
Vanquish
Bayonetta (but ONLY if you lack a 360 and Wii U; PS3 version was undeniably the worst, Sega did a shit job of porting it themselves and it still looks/runs like garbage even with the install.)
Zone of the Enders HD Collection (be sure to update ZOE2 ASAP; it's almost unplayable out of box, but the update makes it run about as good as it did on PS2; better even, in some areas.)

You can CFW a slim.
It's hard, but doable.
You can even emulate PS2 games.
But this all depends on what model you have.
Had a friend with an E3 flasher and he did mine for me.

No. I've looked into it. My PS3 Slim is one of those models that can't be downgraded.
I'm just really hoping at some point it gets the PSP treatment where you can cfw any firmware and any model of PS3.
