That initial of 10k is great for the first day of a game that already came out, the days afterward is when it will fall.

People will get bored quick. The game didn't die because of all the shitty DLC, thought that did help it along.
It died because the main game mode is 10-20 minutes of hide and seek and then dying cause the monster got to level 3.
