It's one of the better ports. The story is incredibly fucking shit until like the last 2 tales. Holy fuck that story is bad. Like the main character is really realistic saying "I don't have to tell you why I'm fucking your shit up." but at the same time it's frustrating spending 20-30 hours not knowing why you're playing.

Tons of mods. Also I genuinely enjoy the main quest since I like being the dragonborn and I like fighting dragons and I like Paarthurnax and I like using the fire breath shout, which requires me to do the shittiest parts of the main quest anyway.
I'm sure at least 100 or so of those hours were spent AFK though.
Actually probably more since I do remember forgetting to turn the game off once and leaving my PC on for nearly a week on one occasion, so make that 250.

A lot of my hours were before achievements even got tacked on son, I've been playing Terraria since the day it came to steam. 2 of them are time-based, and the last one is completely obnoxious related to completing 200 fishing quests. I couldn't care less.

I don't mind the length, but I do have a problem with how shallow character growth is this time around.
First they make psionics an isolated class, and now MECs too are a completely separate unit type. There's very little to develop your soldiers with beyond just the normal promotion system.

I just hope they have a Not-Enemy Within expansion that adds mechanical augmentation and bioengineering again, because that was amazing. Having progression paths on top of progression paths was what made raising a squad so fun in EW.

Weapon Mods and PCS are by no means proper substitution to taking your soldiers, cutting off their limbs and shoving them into fuckhueg suits of powered armor though.
Or genetically augmenting them to be able to jump entire buildings or turn invisible each time they reach cover.
And better yet, doing that to a previously-screened soldier that you know has psionic potential.
The game could use a lot more power creep and advanced projects like that.
