Why is university such a huge deal? I don't even get why people think that you HAVE to finish uni because if you don't you're a failure. I remember some of my classmates laughing at others for not going to uni, but a college or somewhere entirely else. The cost is pretty high, some of the lecturers are lazy bums that teach nothing (one of my lecturers outright said he doesn't give a fuck about his job as he comes here for the money he gets). I was even forced to take up extra lectures which were either Existentialism (meaning of life and such which took 2 hours every Thursday) or gender studies (main aspects of the lectures were feminism and how women were being mistreated in our society and the lecture took 4 hours every Friday). Overall, what they teach in uni the first 2 years is almost an absolute waste of time.
