I love the new Doom but here are the flaws I find with the game
>Not enough enemies. There are a lot of corridors where you're not shooting at anything. You should almost always have to be shooting at something. Even a few sparse groupings of enemies would be nice. I have no problem with the lockdown arenas themselves, just wish there was more shit to shoot outside of them.
>Upgrades swing the balance of power too far into the player's court towards the end. Weapon mods are cool but some of them are overpowered as shit (e.g mini-rockets, gauss siege-mode, and most egregious is the plasma overheat). Combined with armor upgrades, rune upgrades, and mod upgrades you begin to feel very overpowered. You have to play on Nightmare to get a proper challenge. Ideally there should be a "classic mode" that removes praetor/weapon/rune mods
>Game is very short. Leaves you with the desire to rip and tear more shit after you're done in new levels. Hopefully DLC will add more cool levels with lots of shit to shoot.
