Pyro is an ambush class whose strategy is more easily accomplished by both Scout and Spy, and can easily be countered just by someone not having tunnel-vision
But even if you do get close, there's still a possibility that you will be out DPS'ed by anyone that can aim / more skilled players
Not all bad though, while these things are pretty crippling and do force you to waste precious time in retreat for health when things go bad, you have the utility of airblasting which reflects projectiles and counters ubersuntil they shoot you, and easy spychecking is a bonussomething many experienced players already do instinctively no matter what class they are
