adding to this, i was playing stardew valley and then i started playing terraria and i lost interest in stardew valley (got both during the steam sale)
Stardew Valley can be pretty comfy, but the same can be said about any game like Harvest Moon.
Persona 3 and 4 are also pretty comfy. It's really relaxing to just move into a new day, hang out with a friend, study in the evening, and then plan for your next journey into the dungeon. Add to it holidays, romance, and great music and you've got something awesome to sink time into.
There's also Animal Crossing of course. It's made to be stress free and something to just visit for like a half hour to relax. Check your mail, enjoy the weather, visit neighbors, see if there's a festival or holiday, check the store for neat furniture, fish/catch bugs a bit, then close out for the day.

Fishing, building, general exploring and spelunking. It's 2d minecraft but with actual content. All my friends (even the ones who claim not to like it) have more than 100 hrs.
Comfy games I play at the moment are Rogue Galaxy and Type-0 HD. I love the environment and the comfy music in both games. Nothing better than to grind some levels in Type-0 and listen to your favourite music.
