I just followed that thing step by step, sometimes even double and triple checking to make sure I was doing it right.
If you do the same you can't fuck it up, I was probably the least indicated person to install a9lh and I managed to do so. The guide also makes you do plenty of backups so in case something goes wrong, you're covered.

There's also NinjaCam (homebrew menu app) that lets you take picture on your 3DS cam without the obnoxious snapping noise that can't be muted. And Purgification is another good homebrew app that removes notifications that mightspam you whenever you start your 3DS. When you make an emuNAND/RedNAND, it makes a copy of all the data originally on your 3DS so it's basically a duplicated thing with all your saves and games.
When you have that, you can install something called JK's Save Manager that you can use to backup your game saves.just in case. It'll go into a folder on your SD called "JKSV."

Open up Luma settings and change the clock rate to c2 I think it was? It was the third option, though you can mess around since most games require the same option but some occasionally complain with that option. Keep in mind it's only really noticeable on Senran Kagura Burst and the Pokemon games though.

I have an EUR 3DS XL, regular games work just fine, but VC stuff all gives me black screen, and whenever I try installing the DLC for Smash Bros. I also get black screen when I try playing it, vanilla works fine, it's just the DLC that refuses to work, anyone knows why?
