When you catch a pokemon and the music starts it sounds like it will be the regular pokemon catch theme but then instead it's some bastardized version which leaves me feeling underwhelmed. Besides, there's another business reason. A lot of people but Nintendo handleds just for Pokemon and for a majority of the user base Pokemon was a relevant aspect of their decision to buy the handheld.
