Just beat Xillia and want to start X2.
How does it compare to the first game? Some of the bosses were challenging since I'm a noob to tales games after symphonia. Are there any bosses like the cunt in pic related?

Xillia 2 has got to be 50%-60% reused assets, but there's plenty to love if you loved the first.
I don't remember any fight from it being as annoying as the final Gaius/Muzet battle from the first. X2 certainly has a couple far more memorable boss fights.

Better, but for the love of God don't play it right after Xillia 1. You will get burned out at all the reused assets
Easily one of the best Tales games. But yeah, the reused shit is a bummer.

It's what Xillia 1 should have been. Not bad, but it reuses so many assets from the first game that most of the time it feels like you aren't even playing a sequel. Literally every area and dungeon is reused from the first game. At least the combat was fun and the story was acceptable.

Remember the maps of Xillia 1? It's the same for Xillia 2. The very damn same. So if you don't want to feel like it's just reused assets, don't play it immediately after 1. But if that doesn't bother you go ahead and play it.

I fucking hated muzet and her annoying behaviour. I hate how she keeps spaming shit and recovers him with gels when he's below 30,000hp. The fight turns into a spam to win tatic towards the end.
I beat the game last week and regret even buying the second now. Is it worth my time in playing the second the game.

MC doesn't have a voice in dialogue until NG+ because reasons
the debt is not as annoying as people make it out to be, as long as you keep up with bounties and sidequests you will have plenty of gald to make payments.
ludger's ruca outfit is fucking godtier, it makes his chrono form like 10x better
