I think everyone who complains about HAVING to do research to even wade in the pools started trying to seriously play tekken before the others.

I really wish they could make a similar game with none anime characters as it actually takes a decent amount of skill compared to most fighting games. Had a buddy bring that super hero mortal combat game over my house claiming you can't mash buttons and win against somebody "good" in that game and destroyed him multiple times after learning one combo and how to block. Put storm four in and proceeded to gets multiple perfects on him. Friend than proceeded to claim it doesn't count because it's a stupid anime game. Fuuuuuckkkk!!!

Who do you play? I recently got into scharlachrot and she's pretty fun. Arcana choice seems a bit annoying though, everywhere I look seems to say plant is the hands down best for her, but I'm liking metal more in general but the few matches I get I lose horribly. Any way to make that work?

I play BlazBlue everyday, and UNIEL in-between. Want to get good at Arcana Hearts too, but focusing more on BB for now. Once I get better at the game I'll probably spend a bit more time messing around with other fighting games.
If I manage to get my hands on a PS4 before KoFXIV releases I'll fuck around with that a bit, though it won't be my "main game" since the cast doesn't interest me all too much. Mechanics seem fun though, even though my only experience with the franchise in the past is a couple of hours on each game testing them out.
