RE6 has a bigger active player base than RE4, RE5, and The Evil Within put together. It gets a huge boost any time it goes on sale. It was peaking at 1,500 players the other day.
Stop and think how significant that is. RE6 is a super divisive game, but it's way more popular than most other games of its type. And it's almost 4 years old.

It's the latest game in the series. Also, Resident Evil 4 features no online whatsoever, and RE5 has already been beaten to death by any decent fan of the game.
Heck, I bought the remaster for RE5 last week and I've already 100%ed that shit.

Call of Duty games are generally good games with decent campaigns that have remarkably high completion rates, though?

REmake and RE4 don't even have multiplayer, so those do not count.
